May goal

I'm so excited!! I've almost reached my Etsy May goal of 30 sales and it's only May 18th. I really didn't think I was even going to get close but I guess with Spring in the air people are buying some of my summer styles.

You may also notice I've been giving my shop a new look with the brick background (aka my house). Since I no longer get good daylight in the house, I am forced to take my pictures outside with my new tripod (which I keep calling a tripot for some odd reason). It's time consuming retaking all the pictures again but I think the new style looks a lot better. Here are a few of my favourite new photos.

New blog and more...

I've been a bad blogger lately. I've been so busy working on new spring styles and scouring thrift shops, I haven't gotten a chance to write about anything.


However, I've been very lucky that other people have been blogging about me. First, AreYouAnArtist featured me twice on her blog "The Art of Color".


Second was on Mariposa's blog Mariposas jewels, she featured a few of my tops. I just love her necklaces.


I finally published my first post on my new Blog "I have a garden...Now what?" . The title really defines my gardening abilities!!!



Here's my latest creation:



Using leftover wool fabric, a bright necktie and a vintage brooch, I created a unique and ooak wristlet. It's sold in 1 day. Yay!
