Recycled halter top

I'm sooo excited about this new top. By taking just a man's necktie and large scarf, i was able to create a really cool halter top. I just listed it this morning and it's already been included in a Etsy treasury. The only downfall is that it doesn't fit my mannequin so I have to model it myself and get my boyfriend to take the pictures. I also had to crop my head out of the picture since I had a major case of bedhead today.

I'll definitely be making more over the next week but you'll have to wait 'till next weekend to see them.

Crafts from the past

I was rummaging in the basement over the weekend when I found a bookmark and a trivet that I made as a young child. Memories!

Unfortunately, the trivet is missing a chunk of fused beads. Oh well!

New changes

With the arrival of Spring, I've decided to condense my list of favorites blogs. First, I have to give a little family shout out to my aunt, Nancy. She recently started her own blog Lansdown Studio. WoO-hOo!

I've added my mom's favorite blog Betz White too. I've kept a few favorites Daisy the Curly Cat and a local fave Miss Twiss.

I'm also dropping 4paws from my blog's name and changing it to plain old "tangente".

Easter present

YAY! I love receiving presents. This early Easter present comes from my mom. She had ordered herself some Amy Butler fat quarters from Etsy but she can't bear to cut them. She also included a chick full of Loonies and Toonies for a little Michaels' shopping spree. Can't wait, thanks Mom!

Handmade tags

My newest obsession is making paper crafts. I hand cut these tags from gorgeous Amy Butler cardstock. They will soon be for sale in my tangente shop - $4 for a set of 5.

Great for gift tags, thank you notes or even display signs for your craft fair table.
